English: Skógafoss, Iceland, July 2014
Français : La cascade de Skógafoss est située près du petit village de Skógar, dans le sud de l'Islande. La rivière Skógá se jette de ces falaises formées par les anciennes côtes de l'île, et tombe de 62 mètres en formant une chute d'une largeur de quelques 25 mètres. La chute est l'une des plus célèbres et des plus visitées du pays.

English: Skógafoss is a waterfall situated on the Skógá River in the south of Iceland at the cliffs of the former coastline. After the coastline had receded seaward (it is now at a distance of about 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) from Skógar), the former sea cliffs remained, parallel to the coast over hundreds of kilometres, creating together with some mountains a clear border between the coastal lowlands and the Highlands of Iceland.
